The Tornadoes Storm over Carol City

Booker T. Washington put on a stunning display of their powerful offense and impeachable defense in a game against fellow Miami high school, Carol City.  Increasing their record to 3-0, Booker T. Washington maintains their status on top of the DigitalSports National Football Rankings.

The Tornadoes broke out to an early lead and never looked back.  Senior quarterback Treon Harris led his team with 14 completions on 18 attempts, 239 yards, and three touchdowns, including one to sophomore receiver Lamar Parker.

Perhaps more impressive than Harris’ display, the Tornadoes’ defense recorder their second shutout of the season, holding Carol City to only 88 total yards and four first downs.  Carol City quarterback Trayone Gray only completed 2 of 8 attempts for a total of seven yards.

Now Booker T. Washington prepares for their game against rival, Jackson High School, on Thursday, September 19.  The Tornadoes look to win big and sustain their #1 ranking.

Key Players:

Treon Harris- 14-18 for 239 yards, 3 TD
